This silk matelasse from Carolina Herrera is so unique! It has two-layers of a very sheer silk organza, and the upper layer is crinkled to form a houndstooth check pattern. The fabric is textured, sheer and crisp, and is a beautiful coordinate for the other fabrics in this grouping. Use for any project requiring organza--use for layering, make a fitted overblouse or sheer jacket, a pouffy (lined) skirt, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
