From the sample room of a NY designer, this gorgeous Italian stretch jacquard brocade has a sophisticated look with a fuzzy flower design (both sides shown below) that is woven in, not printed. It's a matelasse with a slightly puckery surface texture, and the yarns are black an d very light, cool silver (PANTONE 14-4203 is close). Flexible and malleable, and just a teeny bit of stretch in the width only (perfect recovery). Very malleable with plenty of body for tailoring. Medium-weight suiting, perfect for tailored jackets, vest, evening coat, fitted dress, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
