From a wonderful new supplier with great things at great prices, this off white stretch cotton comes from a designer sample room and is a fabulous basic! The texture, if you look closely, is like a micro-pique or canvas, but it's quite smooth, and has moderate stretch with great recovery. It's a pants/jacket weight, opaque with a cottony crisp drape, and it stands on its own as a great summery basic for tailored items, or as a blank canvas for dyeing, fabric-painting, embellishment, batik, etc! It has a wonderful hand and is beautiful quality. Test first if you wish to wash at home.
