I visited one of my favorite suppliers of high quality silks and purchased a selection of beautiful tweeds at a great price! This is an exquisite silk tweed basketweave woven, closely woven enough to be opaque, but still wonderfully soft and with a lovely drape. The pattern of thicker and thinner yarns creates a gorgeous texture and tweedy look. Brilliant coral (15-1245) and chartreuse (13-0648) tones with sky blue, cream and black accent threads for contrast and interest. The right side is textured, the back side is more smooth. The colors and the texture are very rich and vibrant in real life--it's just a stunning cloth! Suiting weight, make a jacket or coat, skirt, suit, tailored or with drape. Dry cleaning recommended.
