This is an exquisite couture silk/metallic brocade from Oscar de la Renta-- much more stunning in real life! The design is woven in with taupey and gray-brown shades that have a silvery sheen (PANTONE 12-0000 and 17-1109 are in the vicinity) with highlights of lilac (14-3204). There are also areas of silver metallic. The remarkable design is large and dramatic, with bands of color that are broken up by the flowers and leaves. The fabric is very malleable yet with lots of body, and it's of the highest quality. It's not at all drapey, so it's best for a special occasion coat or jacket, bodice, etc. Dry cleaning recommended. I have two yards here, but other than that it's AVAILABLE BY SPECIAL ORDER ONLY (takes a couple of days or so).
