From a top mill in Italy, this matelasse brocade is so beautiful and intricate! It's got a jacquard weave with a swirling lines design that give it a quilted look, combined with a beautiful and fashion-forward plaid. The coloration is a warm, taupey gray (PANTONE 16-0207 is close), and other colors are peachy coral (14-1324), yellow, pink, orange. They are cross woven to create more complex colors. Fascinating and wonderful! No stretch, medium-light weight suiting, very malleable, but more crisp than drapey. Perfect for jackets, suits, vest, evening coat, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
