From a young, unnamed NY designer, this is a very cool patched together dark blue denim. The right side has top-stitched seams in a checkerboard square pattern with an interesting exposed-seam reverse side. Use for jacket, coat, skirt, vest, etc. Medium-weight, malleable denim with no stretch. Please test first if you wish to wash at home.
