From a young, unnamed NY designer, this is a very cool patched together fabric made with "stained" cotton plaids. The right side has top-stitched seams in a checkerboard square pattern, and for those who like exposed-seam garments, try making the wrong side the face for an urban-casual garment. This fabric has a very youthful, bohemian, hipster-ish look no matter which side you use! I am not sure how the darker coloration was achieved on the right side, but it has a tea-stained or tie-dyed look over the original plaid color. Use for jacket, coat, skirt, vest, etc. Medium-weight cotton, malleable with no stretch. Please test first if you wish to wash at home. |
