This fabric is absolutely stunning--far more wonderful in real life! It's got an intricately-pleated surface texture with a swirling, grainy design, and the pleats will expand VERTICALLY with perfect recovery (so the pleats are permanent, and your garment should probably be cut so that the length goes from selvedge to selvedge). Opaque with drape and body, this is an evening/special occasion/formalwear fabric that invites creativity and will turn heads! The color is a pearly, reflective white.
