Made in Italy for Marc Jacobs, this is an amazing novelty yarn tweed woven, that looks like a knit, but there's no stretch. The yarns are loosely woven and the combination of copper, gold and ivory novelty yarns mixed with thin espresso yarns makes for a very unusual texture and exquisite coloring, somewhere between boucle and eyelash (but the "lashes" are very short so it's not hairy, they just add texture). Just stunning! Medium weight but loosely woven so it's quite drapey and malleable. Make a beautiful cardigan, jacket, suit, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
