From the designer William B. (a high-end designer who uses mostly Italian goods, and I think also produces for other high-end lines), this is a rough-hewn cotton with a very open plain weave, and a more tightly-woven design woven in to the base cloth to create a rustic, textured look and a pretty design. The color is a lovely creamy ivory. Perfect for a special jacket, tunic, overshirt, even a skirt or dress (lined). Very eye-catching and "artsy". Hand wash cold in baby shampoo, lay flat or hang to dry.
