It starts with a dark navy (Pantone 19-3920 is close) cotton pique, and it's embroidered to make square eyelets and to form a basketweave design. So cool--and perfect for an eye-catching summer jacket or simple shift dress. More cottony-crisp than drapey, opaque (except for eyelet holes) but not thick. Such a clever yet sophisticated fabric!
