Available by special order only, just takes and extra day or so: Wow, I've never seen anything quite like this surprising, exquisite and very unusual fabric! Between two layers of sheer black wool gauze are novelty wool yarns that have shimmering loops that look like sequins, in variegated tones of lilac, lavender, sage, apricot, etc.--- a "novelty yarn sandwich" is one way to express it! The effect is intriguing and beautiful, and the fabric has a lovely drape with just enough body to work for any number of styles, from various jacket, dress, and tunic patterns to a beautiful shawl to wear with basic black. Even thought it's all wool, it's quite light and airy, smooth, and could work for any season. It's all held together with thread, and the inner yarns can be exposed to create a fabulous trim at the hem. Dry cleaning recommended, or if you wish to try washing at home please test first.
