From the young designer Jen Kao, this is a fabulous jacquard knit with a pearly white on white (PANTONE 11-4301) design that is much more wonderful in real life! The fabric is mostly cotton, but a burn test reveals metal threads (not to be confused with metallic--metal threads are extremely fine threads that are added to fabrics to create a permanent crinkle look, and they add a bit of body as well. This fabric is matte--the metal threads do not add a sparkle or sheen). This fabric is not sheer, although because it's white you may wish to line a skirt or dress. Beautiful texture and design, perfect for any number of casual summery tops or bottoms. Dry clean, or if you wish to wash at home I strongly recommend testing first, as I don't know how the jacquard weave or the combination of fibers will react.
