This fabric looks like a million bucks (far more wonderful in real life--very difficult to photograph) but won't cost you that much! I got a very good price on this metallic brocade from Italy, quite crisp yet a lighter-weight suiting, and along with the gold metallic there is a forest/teal green (PANTONE 18-5424), bright coral, lilac, peach, etc. Very Monet-like. Use for a special occasion garment, and only for highly tailored garments, such as an evening jacket or coat, as this fabric is crisp rather than drapey. Dry cleaning recommended. I've seen similar fabrics selling in NY for $50-$80/yard.
