This exquisite brocade made in France is very haute couture! The design is a folk-art-inspired design with an 11" repeat and the coloration is silvery, taupish and ecru. There is a lot of texture and interest in this amazing cloth, which is lost somewhat in the photo! Would make a stunning special occasion garment--jacket, dress, bodice, vest, skirt. Wonderful medium weight suiting, better for tailored projects, but keep it simple and let the fabric speak for itself! Exquisite design and fantastic quality. These brocades use a mixture of fibers, both natural and synthetic, sometimes referred to as a "melange" (mixture). Dry cleaning recommended.
