I found more of this very unusual jersey from Cavalli, first offered a couple of years ago. What first comes to mind is matte jersey, but it's more of a doubleknit weight, with the right side having a beautiful sheen, and the other side more of a matte cotton finish. So, it's drapey enough to use for projects requiring a more beefy matte jersey, with an inner layer of casual comfort next to the body. The matte side makes a beautiful contrast as well. Lovely flowing drape and the color is a gorgeous light silvery gray (Pantone 16-0000 is close). This would make a great knit dress or suit---does not need lining and would be elegant, sophisticated and totaly comfortable to wear. A beautiful basic!
