This is a wonderful Italian silk/wool woven, lightweight and a little bit sheer, from a CA designer. It's quite soft, drapey and flowy, like a very lightweight challis, with a slightly crinkled/washed look. Quite beautiful and elegant...a bit bohemian at the same time. The color is a deep and dark eggplant (PANTONE 19-3619 is close). Perfect for casual and drapey tops, blouses, skirt, etc. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to hand wash at home, lay flat to dry.
