Lint0n black/white cotton 'rubber yarn' tweed suiting
contents: cotton
width: 57"
origin: Lint0n/England
This is a wonderful cotton tweed suiting from Linton, a style that they call "rubber yarn tweed" because of the distinctive yarns used that have bits of paint-like "bits" to give it more of a hand-loomed, textured look. The fabric has a cottony hand, however, not rubbery! It's very distinctive-looking and vivid, especially in real life, and the colors in this one are black, rubber-yarn-white, and pale gray. The reverse looks much the same, although one side favors the black a bit more. It is a medium suiting weight, opaque with drape that has some body, and it is perfect for a Chanel or other style jacket, topper coat, a suit, skirt, sheath dress, etc. Line with silk habotai or charmeuse. This came from a designer and the ticket from Linton says "Spring, 2017, so it's quite current! Dry cleaning recommended.
