This is a fabulous lightweight silk printed silk jacquard from the sample room of a NY designer, made in Italy. The fabric is lightweight but not sheer, with a lovely drape and sheen. The jacquard weave is only visible from the wrong side. The print is fantastic, an explosion of colors with a celestial look, and there a horizontal progression with a wide border, a darker area and then a very colorful area which takes up most of the width. The colors are shades black, golden yellow, shades of turquoise and blue, watermelon red, etc (PANTONE 16-4834, 18-4043, etc). Perfect for blouses, tops, tunic, skirt, etc. Dry cleaning recommended or test first if you wish to wash at home.
