How stunning is this stripey brocade from the sample room of a well-known NY designer, so sophisticated and eye-catching! The jacquard weave has a textured surface, and varied stripes of silver and taupe, some of which look like jewelry (PANTONE 13-1008, 14-5002, etc.). There's no stretch in this, and there's much more drape if the stripes are vertically-oriented on your garment. Your choice! I've attempted to show both ways in the photos below. It's a medium suiting weight with nice malleability, beautiful quality. Make a wonderful evening jacket --short or long-- for a special occasion, or perhaps a sculptural skirt or fitted vest. Dry cleaning recommended.
