I know this is poly, but it has the appearance of a very expensive silk burnout and elicits a gasp from everyone who sees it in person! It's a sheer black woven with a design of antique gold and black shapes that are more solid with a metallic sheen. I've photographed it on white, and light brown (I tried black which looks great in real life, but didn't work well for a photograph) so that you can clearly see the design, I hope. This is quite drapey and elegant, perfect for an overlay for anything from a top to a gown. Dry cleaning recommended. About 7.75 yards available.
