From a design group sample room which offers the most fabulous European fabrics, this is a breathtaking Italian silk organza print with applique' patches. The design is a wonderful painterly floral in delightful tones of persimmon red, apricot, gold, etc. on a creamy white background (PANTONE 16-1450, 14-1041, etc). Rectangular and square patches of the same fabric are appliqued intermittently onto the base fabric for a whimsical, textured look. It's sheer and a bit crisp, less sheer where the applique' patches are, and where the color intensifies due to the layering. It's a summery special occasion fabric, line or layer for a stunning dress, tunic, overshirt, pouffy skirt, etc. Dry clean only. About 6-7 yards available.
