This is part of an AMAZING and incredibly well-priced collection of fabrics from C@lvin K. and R@lph L. that I purchased as soon as it became available. This beauty is a silk/lycra textured plisse (moderate stretch with perfect springback in the width only), lightweight but only a teeny bit sheer, with a surface design that has a braided look, and the color is an exquisitely serene and soft cornsilk (PANTONE 11-0105 but perhaps a shade darker). Note the narrow width, 33" which stretches 42" comfortably. Best for body-conscious tops and blouses, tunics and dresses, but it also has lovely drape so it could make a stunning garment that combines snug and drapey areas. Some styles will need lining or layering. Understated, sophisticated, classic with a modern twist. Dry cleaning recommended.
