This stretch lace from Anna Sui is far more beautiful in real life! Refer to the bottom photo for a slightly more accurate depiction of color. It's a fantastic stretch lace with a cloque texture (puckered), black with silver dots. Stretch in the length only with great recovery (so cut your garment accordingly), lovely drape and malleability with an incredibly silky soft hand. Not at all stiff, very liquid and "slippery". It is a lace, so it is open around the dots. One of those fabrics that can go from trendy day wear to a formal event! Make any close-fitting garment, tee, top, drapey over-jacket, dress, gown, camisole, etc. Has pretty, decorative selvedges---a little nicer along one selvedge than the other. Please test first if you would like to hand wash and lay flat to dry.
