About 10.5 yards. This is the coolest fabric ever! From Italy, it's a poly chiffon (beautiful quality) that has been permanently creased in both directions to create a plaid-like design that is quite modern, fashion forward, eye-catching and sophisticated! The creases will expand to flat if spread out, so at rest it measures about 48" in width, but spread out it's about 55", and if you fold in every crease it can go down to 23". It's sheer and drapey, and the creases add movement and interest. Photographed on white to show the detail better. Layer or line to create an evening overblouse, shawl, vest, skirt, etc. Keep your design very simple and let this beauty speak! Definitely worth the effort and challenge. Dry clean, or test first if you wish to hand wash at home.
