This is part of an AMAZING and incredibly well-priced collection of fabrics from C@lvin K. and R@lph L. that I purchased as soon as it became available. This beauty is a silk organza weight with wavy, ribbony, raised stripes that add a phenomenally beautiful look and texture as well as a slight, pleasing sheen. They also add substance, so it's not as thin as a plain organza. The colors are a dark, warm gray with a thin gold stripe in the middle of each ribbon (PANTONE 18-0306, 14-1031). It's sheer in between the "ribbons" and you can orient your stripes in either direction---the fabric will have a more firm drape as shown below, and more of a flowing drape if the stripes run vertically. Perfect for a light evening jacket, blouse, dress or skirt, etc. Some styles may need lining or layering. Understated, sophisticated, classic with a modern twist. Dry cleaning recommended.
