This is a fantastic variegated and textured novelty knit from an unnamed NY designer. It uses variegated yarns to produce an exquiste blend of shades of navy and denim with a bit of aubergine, gold, greenish brown, etc and it has a very slight and pleasing sheen that will take it from day to evening. It has a soft "pleated" texture (the pleats and the stretch go widthwise). Much more beautiful in real life! Stable in the length, moderate stretch with great recovery in the width. Lightweight and just a little sheer, lovely drape and softness. Make any number of cardigans, twin sets, tops, tunics, sweater dresses, etc. Bottoms should be lined.
