This is an absolutely exquisite brocade from Milly, made in France. It's made from a blend of fibers too complex for me to figure out ('melange' means mixture), but there's some viscose, some poly, some cotton, etc. The fabric is a textured matelasse brocade with a stylized floral design (not printed) in black, medium gray (PANTONE 17-5102 is close) and light taupey gray (13-0000). It's very malleable and soft yet the drape is more firm. Some areas are matte, some have a bit of sheen, and the windowpanes have a boucle texture. Perfect for an evening jacket or suit. Dry cleaning recommended. Yardage is limited.
