This is an absolutely exquisite brocade from Milly, made in France. It's made from a blend of fibers too complex for me to figure out ('melange' means mixture), but there's some viscose, some poly, some cotton, etc. The fabric is a textured matelasse brocade with a stylized floral design (not printed) in a black on black coloration. Some areas are matte, some have sheen, and the windowpanes have a boucle texture. It's very malleable and soft yet the drape is more firm. Perfect for an evening jacket or suit. Dry cleaning recommended. Yardage is limited.
