Available by special order only (just takes an extra day or so): I love this very fashion forward fabric from Italy, which I can easily picture on the runway! The yellow tweedy areas are actually wool yarns woven to create a slightly nubby texture and in between are sheer nylon mesh areas in black, gold and cream. The tweedy areas are a mix of golden yellow (PANTONE 14-0754), taupey-mocha and light sand (12-0605) with a black backing. It's a knit with horizontal stripes, and there is moderate stretch widthwise with great recovery. The fabric is stable lengthwise. Very lightweight with sheer areas, and the drape is floaty, soft and elegant. Perfect for a short or long tunic or cardigan, line for a great-looking dress or skirt or make a shawl... etc! Dry cleaning recommended, or if you wish to try washing at home please test first.
