From a top mill in Italy, this matelasse brocade is sophisticated and modern. The colors are much more beautiful in real life: The purple has a sheen (PANTONE 18-3415 but more complex because of the black and the sheen) and the black is more matte, and theres a dimensional texture to the fabric. Colors are reversed on the opposite side. It's a medium weight suiting, has just a slight stretch in the width only, and is malleable but not drapey.
