From another top mill in Italy, just "off the boat", this fabric is another beauty. It's a yarn scramble fabric created through a special felting process that adheres (without glue or fusing) novelty yarns to a black sweater knit background in an "organized" yarn scramble design. The base fabric is a medium-weight sweater knit with a slightly open stitch. The rows of decorative yarns run vertically, and the yarns have little puffs on a thin strand. Colors are brick-ish red (PANTONE 18-1550), cinnamon (16-1448) and dark brown (19-0809). Very drapey with a bit of sweatery stretch in the width only. Perfect for an artsy cardigan, pullover, tunic, dress (lined), etc. Distinctive, beautiful and original! Dry cleaning recommended. If you wish to hand wash, please test first and use baby shampoo or something equally mild. Lay flat to dry.
