From a top Italian mill, this is a superb wool lace fabric that is so much more wonderful in real life! The base fabric is a darker charcoal gray (PANTONE 18-0506) with a pointelle type of stitching, and the lovely floral design is felted onto the pointelle backing to creat an exquisite design. It's stable yet has nice drape, making it quite versatile, so it's perfect for a jacket, tunic, cardigan, skirt or dress that will look like it cost a fortune! The exposed pointelle areas do have holes, so some garments would need lining. Dry cleaning recommended, or treat as you would any fine sweater knit (please test first).
