French houndstooth plaid jacquard - golden rod/pine/ocean

From French designer deadstock, this is a gorgeous jacquard woven, a medium suiting weight that has a blend of textured and smooth areas that form a sophisticated houndstooth pattern (6.5" repeat). The slightly raised areas are woven in pine green and ocean blue mottled with black, and the background is woven with smooth and flat fibers of golden rod, chestnut, Maui blue, etc. (PANTONE 14-0951, 16-4525, 18-0121, 19-1333, etc.). It has body in the drape, is opaque and medium weight with no stretch, and is perfect for a fashionable jacket, trench, sheath dress, skirt, etc. The reverse is mostly blue and gold with the same houndstooth pattern, and could serve as a nice contrast. Dry cleaning recommended.
