Italian 'cookies n' cream' raised dot boiled wool blend knit

From designer deadstock and made in Italy, this is wonderful textured wool blend knit. This fabric is a soft and warm heavier sweater weight with a 3-dimensional dot design (1.75" repeat). It is opaque with body in the drape, and a lightly brushed effect on the face. The dots are knitted in a charcoal gray on a creamy white background (18-4005, 11-0602) and are raised on the face only (the reverse shows the same yarn-dyed dot pattern without dimension). Although it has about 10% stretch in the width, it is very stable, so it's a perfect choice for an unlined jacket or coat style (but it can also be lined, if you wish!). Gorgeous quality and perfect for fall topper coats and jackets, cardigans, stylish pullovers, scarves and hats, etc. Dry clean, or test first if you wish to try another method.
