    When it comes to sweater knits, the possibilities are endless! They are always in style, comfortable to wear, have a forgiving fit, come in an endless variety of weights, patterns and textures and resist wrinkling. As a sewist it can be difficult to find good quality sweater knit fabrics that duplicate garments found in ready to wear. Even when beautiful sweater knit fabric is available, sewists are often stumped as to how to seam or finish them without a matching ribbing. But, there are many wonderful sweater construction techniques that don't require traditional ribbing at all to achieve a fabulous and finished look.
