M. Lhui11ier 'black ivy' double scallop guipure lace

From the famous LA-based design house, this double scalloped guipure lace is modern and absolutely stunning! The black all-over ivy leaf motif (6.25" vertical repeat, 16.25" horizontal repeat) is textured and dimensional, and the floral design goes all the way across to adorn each selvedge. This lace is photographed on a white background to show contrast. It is stable in both directions, so you can cut your garment either with or across the grain to make use of the selvages. It is a substantial medium weight with some body in the drape, and the leaf areas are opaque. It has a cottony feel but is all polyester. Use for any project calling for guipure or eyelet lace or any type of medium weight lace (see last image for RTW garments by the designer). Dry cleaning or hand-washing (please test first) recommended.
